Notes:
- "It’s only half an hour until Green Day is scheduled to play and everyone in the mosh pit is getting all riled. All of a sudden Billie Joe stepped on stage and everyone went crazy, while Tre Cool gave everyone at Molson Park a warm welcome by standing on his drum kit with both arms flung high in the air. He was wearing one of Green Day's new style Warning shirts. Billie’s hair was all black and he was wearing a red shirt with a black tie, and black pants with a huge white belt, and Mike was wearing a blue sleeveless shirt and navy blue pants. Right before Green Day was about to start their first song Billie looked up with a big grin and with so much energy went right into Welcome To Paradise and Mike Dirnt jumped into the air. After Welcome to Paradise, Billie Joe welcomed us to the Vans Warped Tour. Next they played Hitchin’ A Ride, that’s when Billie made everyone whip their arms in the air and scream, 'Hey! Hey!' and eventually the music got quieter and all you could hear was cheers of, 'Hey! Hey!' It was so cool. Billie Joe must have been in a sharing mood when he asked if we wanted to hear a secret. He continued by saying that this is something he hasn’t done since he was 13 years old and with his hand held far out with all five fingers held up he said while he was in the hotel room he masturbated five times you guys have some really dirty movies over here. Then he came back by saying he loved bullshitting people. Of course we all just laughed, and in the background you could hear Mike and Tre playing the opening of Longview but during this song there were some problems in the mosh pit and Billie stopped the song until he knew the person was okay and Mike Dirnt replied by asking them if they had enough beer. Then they played Geek Stink Breath, which Billie dedicated to Gob, an awesome band from Vancouver. When they began to play Brain Stew, Billie Joe told us to scream so loud that those bastards in Montreal could hear us. After they played Brain Stew and Jaded that’s when someone threw their hat on stage and Billie Joe picked it up and put it on and he said he liked how the hat felt because it felt like having sex for the first time. Next came Basket Case and Billie asked us if we were too hot and we all screamed, 'YES!' Then Green Day’s roadie and three other people came out and started spraying everyone with water guns. Of course they played Knowledge and Billie Joe played the solo with the guitar behind his head and then he played his guitar between his legs. I couldn’t believe it, that was the coolest part of the whole performance. Then he invited someone on stage to finish playing Knowledge. The first person he picked played guitar in a band, so Billie told him that it wasn’t fair and told him to get the fuck off his stage. Then Billie told him he loved his band and that he owns all their tapes. The second guy he picked was really good and Billie gave him a big kiss for doing such a good job. Now it was time to request a Green Day song. Billie asked us if we wanted to hear something old, like, from Kerplunk. Then he turned to Mike, laughed and asked him what song they were gonna play. Then Mike told us that this is the 'request part of the show, so do your damn job!' So someone requested Christie Road. Next Tre set his drums on fire, Mike smashed one of his basses and Billie tried to smash one of his guitars (notice how I said TRIED) so he just pushed the speakers over."
