- For the first time ever, Green Day publicly played "Cigarettes and Valentines", from the lost 2003 album of the same time. They ended up playing it twice in a row.
- During the tour, fans began holding up "thank you" signs at many concerts. When the idea was first posted on GDC, the original post said how the signs would be "Awesome as fuck". Another member than suggested having that phrase as the next sign. A few members got together and made up the signs which they disrupted at the show. The signs came out during the second last encore, promoting Billie to sing the phrase as a line in "Good Riddance". A few months later it was announced that Green Day would be releasing a live CD/DVD from the tour, using this phrase as the title.
- After the show, Billie posted on twitter "Denver! Highlight- cigarettes and valentines – twice! – awesome as fuck?" referring to them playing the song for the first and the signs that were held up at the end of the show.
