It was announced by the NFL team, the New York Jets that Green Day and the cast of the American Idiot Musical would perform at their season opener on Monday, September 13th at the New Meadowlands Stadium. Green Day's performance will be taking place during the halftime show.

Green Day will perform their latest single, 'Last of the American Girls' with the Broadway cast of American Idiot.
