- Best Lighting Design of a Musical - Won*
- Best Musical - Lost to 'Memphis'

Update - 8:19pm EDT - Green Day and the cast of the American Idiot musical was part the opening act and the played Boulevard of Broken Dreams (cast of the AI musical), Holiday (Green Day and the AI cast), and Know Your Enemy (Green Day and the AI cast).

Update - 10:45pm EDT - Billie Joe introduced the cast of American Idiot who then performed the song 'American Idiot'. We will have a video of this performance up shortly.
