Green Day are set to perform on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert next Tuesday night, March 21st! This information comes via 1iota where they have the band listed as the show's guest.
The episode is taping this evening in New York City but won't air until Tuesday, March 21st, according to InterBridge. There are no new epsidoes this week due to the NCAA Basketball Tournament happening here in the US.
1iota only mentions they are guests, but according to an image (see below) from the band's long-time guitar tech, Hans Buscher, it's clear they will be performing.
The Late Show will air on CBS in the USA on Tuesday at 11:35pm EDT. We will of course try to get a video of the performance up as soon as possible!
What song do you want the band to perform? I'd assume "Still Breathing" but "Revolution Radio" would be a good guess as well.
Check out an image of the crew getting Tré's drum kit set up this afternoon at the show's studio in New York City.
