The article talks a little bit about the band's history and how they got their start, as well as how their sound evolved in the early days. The author, Erik Heemsoth, goes on to talk about organizing a show in Detroit for bands like Corrupted Morals, Neurosis, The Offspring and more - and they couldn't find a venue for Green Day. They ended up playing a basement party in 1991.
