Revolution Radio has landed at #1 on the Billboard 200. This marks the third time Green Day has made it to the top of the Billboard 200 in their career, first with American Idiot in 2004, followed by 21st Century Breakdown five years later.

More info from Billboard.com about the specific numbers
The band’s 12th studio effort enters atop the list with 95,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending Oct. 13, according to Nielsen Music. Of that sum, 90,000 were in traditional album sales.

The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on multi-metric consumption, which includes traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). The new Oct. 29-dated chart (where Revolution Radio debuts at No. 1) will be posted in full to Billboard’s websites on Tuesday, Oct. 18.
Revolution Radio also marks the band's tenth album to break into the top 10.
After 21st Century Breakdown, the band’s next studio project was the expansive Uno!, Dos!, Tre! series -- three studio albums released in quick succession in late 2012. Uno! and Dos! debuted and peaked at Nos. 2 and 9, respectively, while Tre! missed the top 10, peaking at No. 13 (its opening frame).

Overall, Revolution Radio is Green Day’s tenth top 10 album, stretching back to its breakthrough effort, Dookie, which peaked at No. 2 back in January of 1995.
RollingStone.com also posted about the No.1 debut
Green Day returned to the top of the Billboard 200 for the first time in nearly a decade as the Rock Hall-inducted trio's new LP Revolution Radio grabbed Number One, leading a pack of five new releases that entered the Top 10 this week.

We're very excited that the album has had such a strong debut and look forward to seeing further promotion of it through the next singles they release. Congratulations to Green Day and everyone involved in helping make this album a success.
