The Interrupters, a ska-punk band from Los Angeles, will be the opener for Green Day's entire 2017 arena tour in Europe.
The four-piece formed in 2012, with Aimee Allen on vocals and brothers Kevin, Justin, and Jesse Bivona on guitar, bass and drums, respectively. On Facebook, their listed influences are "2-tone ska, street punk, liberty and Jameson."
The Interrupters collaborate often with Rancid frontman Tim Armstrong, the director of Green Day's recently released "Bang Bang" music video. (If you pay attention, you can actually spot a guy wearing an Interrupters T-shirt in it.)
Listen to "By My Side," a song from their new sophomore album, "Say It Out Loud:"
