[pic=Spy Rock Road (And Other Stories)]012315_rockroad.jpg[/pic]Alternative Press have announced this morning that The Lookouts, who featured Tré Cool, Larry Livermore (Lookout Records founder), will be having some of their original songs rereleased for the first time in over 30 years.

The compilation will contain all tracks their second album "Spy Rock Road" as well as songs from their first album and other releases. The release also features Tim Armstrong (Operation Ivy/Rancid) playing guitar on a couple of songs, as well as Billie Joe Armstrong also playing on a handful of songs.

COOL: Yeah. When I heard it, I went in my little home studio and re-recorded a couple of songs just for fun, me playing everything. And they're good songs. They're fast, 30- and 40-second songs. [Laughs.][/quote]

The compilation is set to be released on March 15th, and will be titled "Spy Rock Road (And Other Stories)" which will be available to preorder through Don Giovonni Records.

It's set to be released on vinyl (with the first 500 on green vinyl), CD, and digital download. You also have the option to bundle it together with Larry Livermore's book "Spy Rock Memories" with all preorder copies being signed by him.
