Broadway Idiot's Vimeo page has posted a deleted scene from the American Idiot Musical documentary. The clip is a recording from October 3rd, 2010, the final performance of Billie Joe's first run as St. Jimmy in the musical.
Prior to the cast singing "Good Riddance" for the show's encore, Billie Joe plays a song he wrote to commemorate his time in the production and with the cast, titled "Goodnight New York."
As seen in the video, Billie Joe was reading from a lyrics sheet, which can be seen here.
Broadway Idiot was released late last year here in the US and was just recently released internationally. The documentary can be purchased or rented in digital form via iTunes, Amazon, or Vimeo. It can also be streamed on Netflix and, for a few more weeks, via Showtime. If you could like a physical DVD copy, they are available on Amazon.
