[pic=Nimrod.]101413_nimrod.jpg[/pic]Today marks the 16th anniversary of Green Day's 1997 album, Nimrod.
The album is one of Green Day's most experimental albums (alongside with Warning), containing elements of many genres such as ska, surf rock and folk. To date the album has sold over 10 million copies worldwide along side 4 singles (Nice Guys Finish Last, Hitchin' A Ride, Redundant, and Good Riddance). Along with the 4 singles, other songs became big in the fandom like Scattered, King For A Day, and the instrumental surf rock song, Last Ride in.
If you get the chance, make sure to take out 50 minutes of your day to sit down and listen to the album.
