[pic=Billie Joe on stage]081913_billiejoe_solo.jpg[/pic]After 7 rounds and a total of 92 songs, we have a winner in our "Best Green Day Guitar Solo" tournament. The winner is: "Dry Ice" off 1039 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours.

"Dry Ice" was up against "Let Yourself Go" in the final round, but the older track beat the newer song by 30% of the vote (65% to 35%).

I'm a bit surprised an older song won, and people were complaining all through the tournament that older songs wouldn't last because it was a "popularity contest." I think a pretty good solo won this tournament.
