In 2009 Green Day was selected to be one of the performers for Carson Daily's New Years Countdown on NBC. The band played a full set, but NBC only aired "Know Your Enemy," "Going To Pasalacqua," "Holiday," "Minority," "Welcome to Paradise," and "21 Guns" on the countdown.


Although the performance was [turl=http://www.greendayauthority.com/news/166/]aired on New Years[/turl], Green Day actually had prerecorded their portions on November 23rd at a free show in Los Angeles.
