This past Friday the Idiot Club put out a casting call for their members who live in the Los Angeles area to be extras in Green Day's upcoming video for "Stray Heart." "Stray Heart" is the first single off of the second album in Green Day's trilogy, ¡Dos!.
Video Static is reporting that Robert Schober will be directing "Stray Heart." In the past Robert Schober has directed videos for My Chemical Romance, Coheed & Cambria, and Metallica just to name a few. This is a change from Sam Bayer who directed the videos "Oh Love" and "Kill The DJ" off of ¡Uno!.
From what we've heard the band wasn't actually on set and only the storyline of the video was being shot on Friday. Below you can view a few pictures from the set.
In other news, "Stray Heart" is now available in the the UK iTunes Store.
