If you can't attend, like most of us, we've got great news: the festival will be LIVE-STREAMED this Friday, so we'll be able to see Green Day perform in real time from Las Vegas. Here's the link to the stream site, where there's currently a running countdown to the performance.
iHeartRadio did a short interview with Green Day a couple of months ago, in which the band talk about creating intimacy, being played on the radio, what to expect from them at the festival, and some Brazilian guy's infected back tattoo.
Additionally, the entire iHeartRadio festival will be aired on the CW TV network on October 1st, incase you miss the live stream.
Green Day is one of 10 acts performing during the first half of the festival on Friday night, starting at 7pm PST (or 10pm EST). The performance order hasn't been specified so there's a chance we might have to suffer through Lil Wayne, Rihanna, Usher, and others before Green Day performs......I know, but it'll be worth it.
