Green Day placed number 7 on Spin's list of the 20 essential songs from the late Lookout Records with "Dry Ice" which appeared on 1,039 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours, the band's first album recorded with the indie label in 1990.
Lookout Records announced it was closing its doors earlier this year. Larry Livermore started the company in 1987, and Green Day released several EP's along with two full-length albums, 1,039 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours and Kerplunk before signing with Reprise Records in 1993.
