[img=111111_FarAsHell.jpg]"Who said that living as far as hell from each member would be an obstacle to start a band? who?...yeah..thought so..." - Far As Hell.
I'm really excited to bring you all this latest fan cover feature, with a bit of a twist! Far As Hell are a "virtual band" made up of Graham (Guitar), Drew (Bass), Joak (Drums) and Geo (Vocals). They chose the name "Far As Hell" because the band members are located all over the world (USA, Uruguay and Greece) - "so they are far as hell away from each other!"
Here's Far As Hell's video of the band covering Green Day's "J.A.R":
A little bit more from the band's biography:
I personally got to meet Graham and Drew at the Green Day show in Phoenix, AZ in the summer of 2010 (not quite '69!) and they are really awesome dudes. Graham actually got picked to come on stage for Longview at that show, and he absolutely killed it (in a good way)! He ended up playing guitar and singing the song, impressing everyone including Billie Joe, who donned him with the King For A Day crown for his performance! Watch the video here.
You can see the rest of Far As Hell's Green Day covers on their YouTube Channel here.
Far As Hell's video for "MYLF":
You can see more of Far As Hell's original songs to date on the Far As Hell Music channel.
Drummer Joak is also in a band called Joint Aktion, you can check out their stuff here.
If you'd like your Green Day covers featured on GDA in the future, send an e-mail with links to your stuff to tony@greendayauthority.com and we'll see what we can do!

A little bit more from the band's biography:
After Graham (Guitar) got to play on stage with Green Day he wrote a song about it called "Finally Here". The guys recorded it as their first original song and entered it into a contest to get it put into a movie called "The Secret Lives of Dorks". They won the contest and the song is set to be used in the movie upon it's release. Now they continue to make Green Day covers but also are working on more original songs.
