New Found Glory cites Green Day as inspiration for new album

[img=100311_NFG.jpg]New Found Glory has been talking about Green Day a few times recently as one of the "old school" pop punk bands that inspired their new album, Radiosurgery.
They talk about Green Day's influence on their new album in the video below, at about 1:40:
The band from Coral Springs, Florida, cite Green Day's earlier records like Kerplunk as some of the stuff they listened to before making this record, along with "older punk" music like The Ramones and The Descendents, as they attempt to "bridge the gap" between the genre today and where it was 20 years ago.
