1039 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours celebrates it's 20th anniversary

Originally this album was released in 1990 as 39 Smooth, but then it was released again in 1991 as a compilation album to include the band's first 3 EP's: 39 Smooth, Slappy, and 1000 Hours, which were recorded at the Art of Ears Studio in San Francisco, CA between 1988 - 1990. This is the only Green Day album that Tre Cool did not play on since John Kiffmeyer had not yet left the band.
In 2007, Green Day re-released this album on Reprise Records, calling it a "re-mastered" version. As of 2010, it has sold over 600,000 copies.
Take an hour out of your day and take a listen to this classic album. If you are a newer fan and haven't bought 1039 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours yet this would be the perfect time to buy it on iTunes or Amazon.
