[img=030311_jingletown.jpg]Back in the beginning of November we posted that the people from AudioTechnology.com.au were in Oakland to tour Green Day's recording studio and interview Green Day's engineer, Chris Dugan. Finally four months later they have finally put out their interview with Chris Dugan on their website.
This article is a extremely interesting read and covers a lot of the technical aspects of Green Day's recording process that is not generally focused on. The article talks about everything from the individual instruments each of the band members use in the studio, to the tracking of the albums, and the mixing process. They also include some pictures of Green Day's studio.
You can read an online version of the magazine on AudioTechnology.com.au by clicking here. The Green Day portion of the magazine starts on page 19.
