Nine years ago today, Green Day released International Superhits, a compilation released as a "Greatest Hits" CD. The CD features Green Day's most popular songs from Dookie, Insomniac, Nimrod, and Warning. The band recorded two new songs for the album, 'Maria', and 'Poprocks & Coke'.
Green Day's first two albums were excluded from the compilation since Green Day's record company, Warner did not have the rights to those albums at the time International Superhits was released.
