Saturday May 16: Green Day performed "Know Your Enemy" and "21 Guns" on SNL. Wednesday May 20: Billboard announced that 21st Century Breakdown has taken the #1 spot on the top 200 list, despite the album only being on sale for 3 days. Tuesday night Green Day played Webster Hall in New York City for MySpace's "The List", photos can be [turl=http://greendayauthority.com/Picture_Vault/thumbnails.php?album=182]seen here[/turl].
Thursday May 21: AP publishes an article about Green Day standing up against Wal-Mart's policy to only sell the new album if they offered a clean censored version. Green Day also stops by to visit The Colbert Report, watch this video of their interview and performance of Know Your Enemy.
Friday May 22: Green Day performs 4 songs for Good Morning America's Summer Concert Series. Watch all 4 performances and their short interview on the GMA website. Green Day did a kickass performance of "East Jesus Nowhere" on the Late Show with David Letterman, watch the performance on YouTube.
Sunday May 24: CBS Sunday Morning airs an interview and story about Green Day, which you can watch here.
