Who's producing the new album?

Throughout September we got tips saying that Butch Vig was helping produce Green Day's next album. Vig is the drummer for 'Garbage', but also a well-known producer who worked with Nirvana, and more recently with Against Me!, Jimmy Eat World, AFI, and The Subways (and many many more). While we had heard the rumors when they first surfaced, we weren't able to confirm them. In a recent interview with Carson Daly, Garbage lead singer Shirley Manson said that Butch would be producing Green Day's album.
According to AbsolutePunk.net, Joe McGrath (who produced Maria and Poprocks & Coke for International Superhits) is said to be assisting with the producing.
Most of you probably know Rob Cavallo as Green Day's producer, having worked with them on nearly all their albums since Dookie. It's unclear what role Rob will have with the next album, but I'm sure Green Day knows what kind of sound their trying to accomplish by working with different people.
