Graphic designer Ian Leino posted pictures of some really nice brand new Green Day t-shirt design proposals that he created for Cinderblock. Check them out at his blog, along with more designs he created last fall. The new shirts are not available for sale yet. (Update: the new designs are not up on the site anymore.)

At rock.com, Billie Joe was voted the number one choice by fans for musicians who should be president. He was followed by Bono, Marilyn Manson, Ozzy Osbourne, Ted Nugent, Pete Wentz, Gerard Way, Axl Rose, Bruce Springsteen, and Gene Simmons. More info.
Billie Joe Armstrong, the Green Day frontman and self professed American Idiot topped our list of unlikely presidential candidates, because of his Pro-Choice stance on smoking and masturbation, and his inexplicable ability to toe the fine line between activism and complacency.

A recent issue of Rolling Stone magazine in Italy has Billie Joe on the cover and features an interview with him. We haven't seen the article, but as far we can tell it's the same interview that was published in English in Rolling Stone last fall.

Much Music in Canada aired a show in December called 50 Virgin Videos, featuring the first video that an artist made. Green Day's video of Longview was number 10.
