A pretty good birthday present is Rolling Stone's Decade-End Readers Poll, where Rolling Stone readers named the band Best Artist of the Decade and American Idiot Best Album of the Decade. Other artists were My Chemical Romance, Coldplay, U2, Justin Timerblake, Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Lady Gaga, amongst others. Full list of the results can be read here.

The band also picked up Best Single of the Decade for "Boulevard of Broken Dreams", (American Idiot came in at #13 in that poll) .
