MTV has announced nominations for its upcoming EMA show and Green Day has been nominated for two awards: "Best Live" and "Best Rock."

In the "Best Live" category, the band is up against Adele, Beyoncé, Coldplay, and Twenty One Pilots. For "Best Rock," their challengers are Coldplay, Metallica, Muse, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Voting is now open on the EMAs' website. If you feel Green Day should win these two awards, it's very easy to vote on Green Day's EMA page by clicking here.

The 2016 MTV EMAs will take place on November 6th in Rotterdam, Netherlands. It is unknown if the band will travel to the Netherlands for the award show to perform or to accept the awards in-person if they were to win. The band does not currently have any tour dates scheduled for the month of November.
