Stand Up 2 Cancer performances to be released on iTunes

[newsImage]091010_sutc.jpg[/newsImage]A couple days ago we [turl=http://www.greendayauthority.com/news/771/]posted the video[/turl] of Billie Joe playing "Wake Me Up When September Ends" at the anti-cancer telethon, Stand Up 2 Cancer. The event organizers have announced that they are releasing audio recordings of the songs performed on the telethon to iTunes on Tuesday, September 14th. Money made from these tracks will go to benefit the Stand Up 2 Cancer organization.

The release will also contain performances from other artists including Neil Diamond, Heart, and more.

Right now you can pre-order the album on iTunes for $2.99.
