As you may know the GDA staff (Andres, Courtney, J'net, and I) attended the Green Day show at the Wachovia Spectrum. I can honestly say that it was the best night of my life. The set list was amazing which included songs such as 2,000 Light Years Away, Give Me Novacaine, and The Words I Might Have Ate.

I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to go to the sound check for the show where the band warmed up American Eulogy, King For a Day, and 21st Century Breakdown. Then Billie just came out with an accoustic and played two unreleased songs Drama Queen and Olivia. This was a truly amazing experience. Also around the same time I got the chance to talk to a lot of people who visit GDA and it felt really special when people actually knew who I was! So thank you so much for that. I will be writing a full review of the show and will post a link to it here later.

Also, on a side note Nimrod of The Week will be taking a break this week and will return back to normal next week.

EDIT by Courtney: At the show, I was right against the barrier in the middle of the catwalk (black shirt with a red AI heart). Andres, J'net, and Jimmy were over on the right side against the barrier. Andres, J'net, and I were lucky enough to get into the afterparty. Tre Cool was there! He talked to all of us, and stole Andres' pin off his shirt and put it on his shirt. He then wanted to take a picture with me! You can read a little bit from me on my Myspace blog.
