As the release of The Simpsons movie comes closer (July 27th), I'd expect we'd hear more about Green Day's cameo in the movie. Apparently, "Green Day is booed and pelted when it starts speaking about the environment to a Springfield crowd". Here's the article on AOL that I found giving us a little sneak peek at what Green Day's role is. It's only a brief mention, but it's something new to me!
