As daily readers of the site have noticed, we haven't been very active lately and lots of things seem broken. Yeah the site has been a bit neglected lately, and it's pretty depressing.

Lots of photos are missing because one of our servers was decommissioned and I didn't read the notices in time. We were able to restore tens of thousands of photos from a backup we made last year. That means there are still a lot of missing photos, something that's going to take us a long time to get back to the way it was.

I know many of you have wondered "hey what happened to GDA, weeks go by without updates". Sometimes it's just easy to get completely swallowed up with 'real life' that something we used to work on everyday took a backseat. I don't like that, I don't like seeing so many days go by with things broken or not updated.

I'll avoid making any promises about it because those can too easily be broken, but know that I intend to do what I can to make sure this site comes back in a meaningful way and continues to be a fun place for Green Day fans to come together for years to come.

Until then, bare with us while we try to fix shit.
