As we posted last week, the film Geezer, starring Billie Joe, will have its world premiere at the upcoming Tribeca Film Festival next month in New York.

Since posting, the festival's website has been updated to announce that the film will screen on April 23 at 8:00pm at Festival Hub 6th Floor.

Single-film tickets, such as just to the screening of Geezer, go on sale later this month on the 29th. Check out the ticketing page on Tribeca's website for more information on tickets and various ticket package that are already available.

Film synopsis:

Perry (Billie Joe Armstrong) is a happily married father of two living a comfortable but sedate life in the suburbs. On the occasion of his 40th birthday, he seeks to revisit his former life as the lead singer in a popular punk band though his middle-aged reality quickly (and hilariously) clashes with the indulgences of his youth.
