Green Day and U2 Articles

It seems the internet is all a buzz about the Green Day and U2 performance and collaboration. We are still trying to confirm if the performance will be on TV for sure. This article says the current plan (though it might change), is for Green Day to open up with Wake Me Up, then the two bands play The Saints Are Coming, ending with U2 singing their song Beautiful Day. This article from Pollstar.com has the following quote from Billie Joe:

We hope that by collaborating with U2, we'll remind the public that people of the Gulf Coast are still suffering and still need help to rebuild their lives
