Gilman, Good Charlotte, Colbert

Good Charlotte has said that Billie Joe has given them a thumbs up and some advice.

Guitarist Benji Madden told MTV that Green Day frontman had complemented the band, saying: "You guys are good, don't ever hold back. Just do what you want and everything will fall into place."

The venue where Green Day started their career, 924 Gilman, celebrated it's 20th anniversary yesterday. (Thanks for Parley for the link)

And for those of you who don't watch the most amazing TV show ever, The Colbert Report, Green Day got a short little mention on it a couple weeks ago. You can watch the video here.
