According to multiple reports coming out this afternoon, Green Day's American Idiot documentary film Heart Like a Handgrenade will be available to watch on-demand on October 16th via Vimeo with a physical and digital release coming next month on November 13th.

The band also has announced that on November 11th, the film will screen in theaters around the world, including Australia, Canada, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, and many more. The full list can be found via Loudwire here.

In addition to on-demand availability on Vimeo, you can also purchase the film through the streaming service for $12.99, which allows you to stream the film anytime.

We can’t believe this was shot over a decade ago. Little did we know that this was only the beginning of the adventure this record would go on to be,” said Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong. “We are stoked for our fans to see this footage for the first time and watch us try and figure it all out.

Check out the trailer for the film below, which premieres tonight at the Mill Valley Film Festival and screens and many other theaters around the U.S. on October 15th.
