Green Day opened up the Billboard awards tonight playing 'Holiday'. They won a total of six awards tonight: Pop Group, Billboard 200 Album Group, Rock Artist of the Year, Rock Song of the Year (BOBD), Hot 100 Group, and Modern Rock Artist of the Year. As posted last week, Green Day was in the recent 'Kerrang' Magazine. Thanks to Amy for sending them into GDA.
The animated film featuring the voices of all three Green Day members, "Live Freaky Die Freaky" will be released January 31, 2006. The movie will play in a few select theaters in the US on the 27th and 28th of January. You can pre-order the DVD and soundtrack on Amazon.
