YouTuber Jared Dines has gained a lot of attention recently with his "If (insert band) Was Metal" series where the guitarist covers songs from a band's catalog but in the style of metal music, creating some interesting results.
This week, Jared released a new installment focused on Green Day's music. He rips through metal versions of most of the American Idiot album, but also threw in "Basket Case" and "Good Riddance."

On a side note, I fully agree with Mark Hoppus in that for bands that are still pumping out music, "was" should be "were." Hear the Blink-182 version here.

it should be "if blink-182 WERE metal," because of the subjunctive clause but w/e idk. https://t.co/4KbqV2o28B
