Billie Joe attended an event in Huntington Beach, CA on July 19 to raise awareness and and funds for cystic fibrosis. He joined other stars and some of the world's best surfers at the event, which was put on by the Tony Hawk Foundation. They raised over $400,000 through ticket sells for the nearly 600 people at the event, along with a raffle for a new car. The money went to 'Pipeline to a Cure' (website), which will hold other events in the future. Read the full article.
