In May of 2016, Spotify announced a new, original series called Landmark. This documentary series profiles the "great musical movements, told by the folks who made them." The first installment premiered last August with Metallica as the focus. Today, though, the music service is premiering its second installment - Green Day: The Early Years.
Chapter one, titled "Sweet Children", is now available for streaming on Spotify. It features interviews with notable punk scene-related figures such as Corbett Redford, who is co-producing Turn It Around with the band. It also features interviews with Billie Joe, Mike, and Tré themselves, who talk about the band's early days and growing up in the punk scene of California.
If you're a Spotify subscriber, watch the 10-minute long part one now by clicking here. This is part of a four-part series that will premiere weekly on Spotify.
