ABC's Good Morning America has announced that Green Day will be performing on the show's Summer Concert Series next week on Friday, May 19th.
This performance marks the opening of the 2017 edition of the Summer Concert Series, which first started in 2008. The free and open the public music event takes place in Central Park in New York City.
GMA ran a video promo this morning that unveiled the band's upcoming performance. Check that out on GMA's website.
If you're in the city on the 19th, be sure to attend the free show! Doors open at 6am and select songs will air on Good Morning America from 7-9am on ABC in the USA.
The band was last on GMA on 2012 just prior to ¡UNO! releasing. However, the band hasn't played the Summer Concert Series in Central Park since 2009, one week after 21st Century Breakdown released.
