Deadline has reported that 'Ordinary World,' the Universal Pictures film starring Billie Joe, is set for an October 14th day-and-date release. Until only recently, the movie was titled 'Geezer.'
A day-and-date release means that the movie will be available from retailers (both physical and online) and in select theaters on the same day. So, as of right now, we can assume that the DVD will be available on October 14th in the US. Meanwhile, in the UK, Amazon has the DVD up for pre-order with expected availability on October 17th. The DVD doesn't seem to be available for pre-order on the US Amazon site just yet.
'Ordinary World' will be Billie Joe's film debut as a lead actor. One of the original songs that he wrote for the film is titled "Ordinary Word," and will be included as the final track on Green Day's upcoming album, Revolution Radio. If you're curious, check out this post for a video of Billie Joe performing the song at the movie's April premiere.
