Notes:
  • Martin Sprouse: "They played on New Year's Eve at Gilman and they tore it up. Everyone had fun. Tim Yo was dancing around. This was way before they were even remotely popular."
  • Michael "Metal Mike" Saunders: "And then on Dec. 31, 1990 at Gilman Street's 'New Year's Eve' with Angry Samoans, Green Day, The Mummies, Blatz, The A.G.'s. I made the phone calls to book all the bands. Only 200 heads showed up or paid, give or take - people were busy going to early parties. ...Well, if a lineup of Blatz, then the Mummies, then some unknown band called Green Day, then old LA punk rock fossils the Angry Samoans, doesn't make perfect sense to you - then you weren't me making the phone calls to get those four bands onto the same bill. Actually, I think Blatz might have been a 'package deal'. Green Day might have said, 'We'll play if our buddies Blatz are on the gig.' But even odds, I had worked from the bottom up and already called Gilman to ask Robert / Eggplant to get his band to hold off on the New Year's Eve party bus until 9pm or so so's they could play a Gilman set first."
