- kytsch: "That was with Green Apple Quickstep from Seattle, WA. I sang two covers with them that night."
- WhiteTim: "My friend who was at the Green Day's 1993 Emo's show said the club was packed to the wall, that hardly anyone could even walk."
- Matthew Juarez: "Tre Cool kept trying to persuade me into letting them sleep at my house because they had no place to crash yet. It's funny to imagine them looking for a place to stay now, seeing that they are probably occupying an entire swank suite at a hotel near Toyota Center at the moment."
- itchykorean: "Damn, now this is old school Green Day right here. I remember this show being hella packed. And Emo's wasn't the biggest place. ...I also remember struggling to find a decent spot to film the show without getting an obstructed view. Unfortunately, my battery died and was not able to capture the show in it's entirety (2 1/2 songs)."
- onewheelup: "I was there that night, and, well, every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday nights. Those were good times, I remember seeing this girl Kelly that I went to visit every Sunday night. I was like, 'What are you doing here?' And she said, 'It's Green Day.' I was like, 'What's that?' And she said it was a band. I was like, 'Oh, sorry, never heard of them.'"
- Cary Jackson: "I skated down and rode the ramp on the patio awhile before the show. I remember their tour van was a Bookmobile, and they traded books with folks. ... They played Sweet Home Alabama, and let people onstage to try to sing it, and as soon as each singer screwed up a line, Billie Joe would literally kick them off the stage into the crowd."
- James Brandon: "They were better, but that Emo's show was untouchable. Getting to be so close and the overall intensity of the band/crowd. I miss that night. The club was packed, inside and outside and everything got destroyed. Everyone I knew from Orange Grove Skatepark was there. I just remember the Green Day flier said $5 for under 21 and free for over 21 and being so mad because I had to pay $5."
