gdtourvan1990: "Thursday June 21: We drove all night and arrived in Portland, OR mid-morning. It was a hot day. Some nice kids let the band freshen up in their apartment and then we drove to the [Satyricon] for the show. The neighborhood was rough. Mike got robbed trying to buy weed. The band Foghat was playing across the street and I got to park next to their bus! The Satyricon promoter wouldn’t let the show start until [Foghat] was over, so the show started late. The opening band were some women from Olympia who scorched the place. 'These girls are tough' I heard Billie say. The Satyricon sold gyros out of a tiny window on the street."
