- Ian Wagner: "I was there, great show. Remember that Green Day had someone there making custom bumper stickers? I got one that said, 'SNOWBOARDS ARE WEAK.' They had dresses on for that show too."
- Mike Dirnt: "We played in LA last night with a band called Dicktit! ...I'll tell you how they got the name: The singer was watching Barney Miller and he looked at Wojohoitz and went, 'Dick-tit!' That's what he really told me!"
- Donald Duke: "Sunday night. 18 and over. Also the heaviest days of rain and flooding via El Nino. Green Day was still kids and was travelling in a torn up sedan from Frisco. Flooding up and down the coast, dozens of detours. Bad visibility on the roads. They showed up with minutes to spare. Because of extreme weather conditions the crowd was not as large as it should have been. Very intimate. They put on the same show as if there was 1000 people instead of the 150 or so. We got the Green Day at their best, oh yeah! As usual, it was the Raji's hardcores that kept the vibe alive. Pope Jonathan, Ed and all the little rascals. We fed them, snuck them cold brews and the funny part was, when they got paid, Raji's felt they deserved more because of El Nino. And Green Day freaked because it was actually almost 4 times more than they ever got paid to date. Within 4 or 5 bowlfulls out back Raji's gave them the house 20%. Pope gave them a care package for the road whatever we had in the kitchen to feed them. They left feeling like they never expected. Thanks to Green Day for playing like no tomorrow and thanks to the the pope and the gang for always keeping it real! Raji's raised the bar for Green Day that night. Love you fuckers."
