Green Day have been announced as headliners at the Corona Capital Festival, which will take place in Mexico Ciy on the 18th & 19th of November 2017. It's not yet been announced which day the band will play, with the other being headlined by Foo Fighters. Additional bands on the lineup include The XX, Phoenix, alt-J and PJ Harvey.

This will be Green Day's first performance in Mexico since the American Idiot era, when they played the capital city in December 2004. Information on that show is available over on our tour section. The news could renew hope for those living outside North America and Europe, many of whom have been waiting longer for the band to pay them a visit.
