Today, a UK band called Matt Grocott & The Shrives released a new single, "Turn Me On." The single and its parent album were recorded at Oakland's Jingletown Studios in March of 2014, and mixed by resident engineer Chris Dugan.

Billie Joe produced the album and played bass, and his son Joey Armstrong (Emily's Army) played drums. The rest of the album will be released in October, but you can listen to and download "Turn Me On" for free via SoundCloud:

If you like, you can also listen to some of Matt Grocott's other demos on SoundCloud, some of which may be appearing in finished form on the EP. This sounds like an awesome project, check back here for further release details later on! Also, follow Matt and the band on Twitter and visit his website for more details.
