+ I heard Desensitized on Y100 Radio recently. It was announced as "This is Green Day's new song". New, my ass. Desensitized has been around since 1996/97. I've heard it several years ago. Aparently, that's the single from Shenanigans. Anyway, I want to tell you guys that I will not be available from Friday, August 9 - Sunday, August 11. + What am I gonna do with all this free time from not having a job? You can tell I was really bored today, because the menu has changed. I divided the downloads page up and made it's own section on the menu for easier navigation. The Green Day Wallpaper was fixed so the wallpaper would be easier to get on your desktop and take up less space. I'll add more of that crap in there when I get my lazy ass to it. + Well, I pretty much cleared out my mailboxes. Yes, I finally put up your stuff! A ton (literally) of pages were updated. We got some new Links, some new Fan Fiction, and as always The Fan List keeps growing and growing. We also have some new Fan Art, Quotes, and the "song meanings fix" were all fixed on the Song Meanings Directory. Collector's Corner was also updated. You might notice that the new link effect I put on this week is gone. That's because it was fucking up the linked pictures so I took it off. We're back to the old, but I don't think anyone minds. It's almost GDXFS Challenge time again! This time the competitors are GDA (this site) and Green Day Fansite, who is gonna win. The challenge starts July 26. If you didn't, check out the GD TV Guide for more showtimes. I don't know, I didn't like it that much. I felt like the whole show basically shafted Green Day. They didn't show enough of them, and they had to share their segment of the time with blink-182. It's not one of their best shows, and if you caught MTV's Diary, you're not missing anything with Cribs. + First things first. I saw last night on MTV a commerical for MTV Cribs: Life on Tour. The show will feature bands such as Puff Daddy, blink-182, and Green Day. The first show airs July 17th @ 10:00 PM EST. Check out the GD TV Guide for more airtimes. All you UK people can ask Green Day a question for an upcoming interview on BBC Radio. Green Day and blink-182 were the #7 act on the money making chart and were the busiest acts with the cheapest prices. Get more details @ Yahoo. And it is time to announce the GDA Contest winners. + Hey everyone! Sorry I didn't update yesterday, I was in a bad mood. Yesterday (July 12th) was GDA's one year anniversary. More than 40,000 hits in one year......sorta. That counter isn't exactly right, because I've had several before I settled on that one. I'd like to point out that GDA is actually about 2 years old, we started as Courtney's Green Day Page (it then got changed to The Green Day Minority when that song came out), back in the summer of 2000. But the domain name www.greendayauthority, was launched on July 12, 2001. Anyway. GreenDayMusic.com finally released their new design, and it's ok, I guess. There's nothing really new on the site though. There are a bunch of new articles, including Kerrang, so I'll make them in a list:

+ I went to see Mr. Deeds last night starring the man himself, Adam Sandler! It was good, got see it. Ok, Green Day news. There's a review of the Pop Disaster Tour in Spin Magazine.
