+04.29.02+ Another Blow to Blink -=Courtney=-

+ The picture to the right is from the 4.28 California Music Awards. It's featured in this article from the SF Gate, which once again disses blink-182.

"Yet judging by Saturday's sets, Green Day remains the hotter band." - Neva Chonin of the SF Chronicle

+ I hope no one encountered any huge problems coming to the site today. I changed basically everything from HTML to SHTML, which will help me with the menus and stuff. A special thank you goes out to Darren of New Talent for showing me that I was doing all that bullshit for nothing. :) If you encounter any problems at all, please let me know. Tomorrow's the deadline so please vote for GDA in the GDXFS Challenge for May. +

  +04.28.02+ Alternative Press Scans -=Courtney=-

+ Hey all! I just got back from Philly with my 2 copies of the new Alternative Press with blink-182 and Green Day. I can't find it anywhere else around here except Philly. Check out my scans here. There's also an ad for Adeline Records that advertises The Frustrators "Achtung Jackass" and also the new Adeline Compliation "Every Dog Will Have It's Day". This picture here was also in the recent issue of Tiger Beat magazine. Ugh, I know....teenybopper world there. But I saw that someone saw it in the magazine on the International Superforum so I hadda go out and buy it. Hey, I don't care what magazine it's in, if it's Green Day, I'm buying it. Also, congratulations to Green Day for winning Outstanding Group at the California Music Awards last night. +

  +04.27.02+ Article -=Courtney=-

+ I was working on the site all day today, but not much of interest for you guys. Except that I did put links to where you can find most of the videos on the Videos page. There's a new article at LAUNCH. 'Blink 182's Hoppus Gives Props To Tour Mates' : Read it here. Also to the right is the cover of the Adeline Records compliation "Every Dog Will Have It's Day". Remember, that's scheduled to release June 18, 2002. It has been added to the Lyrics & Discography page. Thanks goes to 409 Online for the cover. +

  +04.27.02+ Mike!!! -=Courtney=-

+ First of all I'd like to say that today...well now since it's 12:32AM it would be yesterday, was a sad day. I'd like to send my sympathy out to the families and fans of Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes of TLC whom was killed in a car accident on Thursday night and also those of that school shooting in Germany that killed 17 people plus one screwed up kid. As I have said to many people already, I wonder which band/singer they are going to blame for this one. People always look for someone to blame. And as for Lisa, I don't listen to TLC, but I used to back in the day. But it still makes me sick, she was only 30, too young to die when she never really had a chance to live. Anyway, enough with the sad news. Mike did an interview for The Contra Coasta Times in San Fransico :

"I have a daughter and she's the greatest thing that ever happened to me. She gives me a good excuse to watch cartoons."

+ Read the entire interview here. I was browsing around today and I found some pictures of Mike. Three were added to his individual page and four were added various concerts page 2. Remember, Mike turns 30 one week from today. That gives 6 days to enter the GDA Contest. One the site, you might see some things a little screwy or not persistant. That's because I'm changing some things, and I didn't have time to make the change to all the pages yet. I have about 30 pages in my directory to change so please bear with me. Well, that's all for now. +

  +04.25.02+ Website Updates -=Courtney=-

+ I have a question before I plunge into the website updates (no Green Day news today). Does anyone know who sings a song that part of it goes "I don't mind the sun sometimes....". I heard it on Y100 and I can't fucking figure it out! Anyway. I figured out that I made a mistake on the new Green Day Wallpaper I made (pictured to the right). The correction has been made and you can download that from our Downloads section. A ton of new pictures were added to the Picture Vault today, totaling 262 pictures in all. I didn't even think I had that many. However I will still take any lovely Green Day pictures you have to give me. I want to start a new section too, which will be Fan Art. That's so everyone can show me how much I suck at art. As for the GDA Contest to win the brand new Green Day/blink-182/Jimmy Eat World shirt, I have 26 entries so far. Make sure if you plan on entering to do so by May 3, 2002, which is a day before Mike's birthday. Hrmm...let's see what else....one fan was added to the Fan List....and yes....I think that is all. During the course of this entry fucking KaZaa blue screened on me AGAIN, causing me to have to restart my computer. WHY THE FUCK DOES IT DO THAT?!?! Does anyone else in the fucking world have that problem besides me?!?!? God. Life is grand isn't it? And hey, since I did all this for you, how about you go and vote for GDA on the GDXFS Challenge for May. Awww....you're so damn nice. :) +

  +04.23.02+ New Link -=Courtney=-

+ No Green Day news today, that I know of. As for website news, we have a new link, The MXPX Site. Check it out, it's pretty awesome. I actually won tickets to see Green Day in Hershey, PA from WZZO (I was caller 25 when they played a Green Day song). Now everyone here knows I already have tickets for that show, but ya know, I wanted them for my friends. I win, and here you have to be 21. I was disappointed, but I gave the tickets to my brother and his girlfriend. They like Green Day so there ya go. :) They better buy me a shirt or something though! :) BUT it figures, for once in my life I win something and I can't go. Oh well. Three months and 367 days till I'm 21. So close, yet so far away. +

  +04.22.02+ Blink's Not Doing So Good.... -=Courtney=-

+ Well as far as I can tell so far by the reviews Pop Disaster is getting, Green Day is stealing the show...literally. While Jimmy Eat World and Green Day are getting rave reviews, blink-182 is getting the shitty end of the stick. Check out this review from O.C. Register. Remember to enter to win a Green Day/blink-182/Jimmy Eat World 2002 shirt in GDA's Contest. And last thing I have for you today is GDA is now part of a new page called Fan Page Network. +

+04.21.02+ Magazine Covers, New Photos, Website Updates -=Courtney=-

+ Alternative Press's 4.19.02 Arizonaupcoming issue includes 2 covers; blink-182 & Green Day, Green Day, and blink-182. Click here for a preview of the covers and to order the issues if you can't find it anywhere in stores. AZ Central did a review of last night's Pop Disaster performance in Arizona. They also have a "slideshow" of pictures from the show (one is pictured to the right), which you can check out here. There are NO blink-182 pictures though, just Jimmy Eat World and Green Day. The article actually disses blink's performance! The last line in the article (written by Reach Pabst) is "Blink, grow up." :\ The GDA Contest has started! Enter to win a new 2002 Pop Disaster shirt. I have also finally opened the Pictures Vault, but I don't have all the pictures on it yet. I need pictures of Billie Joe, Mike, and Tre so if you want, send me some. Also if you find something that doesn't work, please let me know. Pop Disaster pictures I have so far are on Concert Pictures Page 3. Two new fans and one updated information were added to the Fan List also. I also added some new quotes to the Quotes page. And last, I'd like to congratulate my friends Nicole & George on their marriage! :) +

+04.19.02+ More Contests, Reviews from 4.17.01, New Photos, Website Updates -=Courtney=-

+ First of all, Mainstream Magazine has pictures from the April 17th show in Bakersfield, CA. Check them out here. Then head on over to KROQ for a chance to win a guitar autographed by Billie Joe. GDA's own contest will start this weekend, so be sure to check back here for details. Read an interview of Tre from The Bakersfield, Californian. Then check out the new "poster" at The Offical Pop Disaster Tour Website. Two reviews of the 4.17 show in Bakersfield are up; LAUNCH.com, MTV, and The Bakersfield Californian. If anyone wants to share their reviews so far with GDA, send 'em to me. Greenday.com's Doobie updated with pictures from the Vans Warped Tour 2000, so make sure you check out them pictures. Welp, I have decided the poll has run it's course, so here are the results:

Q: What would you like to see on the GDA Website?

A message board : 10 Votes (13%)
Live chat : 29 Votes (38%)
A mailing list : 8 Votes (11%)
A better picture archive : 29 Votes (38%)
Total Votes: 76

+ As you probably know, I'm working on the new picture archive. Hopefully it will be up soon. The new poll question is; What do people do concerning Green Day that pisses you off the most? Go to the GDA Poll page to vote now. A TON of new fans were added to the Fan List today. So if you recently submitted your info to me, check to see if you were added. As mentioned above, I should have GDA's new contest up sometime this weekend. I decided the prize will be this Green Day/blink-182/Jimmy Eat World 2002 Tour shirt. I would put it up today, but I want to make sure everything is straightened out with the seller I'm getting it from. All you would have to do is put in their name and e-mail to win the shirt. Well, that's about it. Hopefully I will be able to work tomorrow morning or so, but I don't know if I will be able to work on the site tomorrow. My friend is getting married so I'll be getting drunk. :P +

+04.17.02+ More Green Day Contests, Adeline News -=Courtney=-

+ Hey everybody! The Pop Disaster Tour kicks off TONIGHT in Bakersfield, California (if anyone gets pictures send 'em to me)! Lucky bastards. I'm still counting down the days till May 23. :) I was meaning to update yesterday, but my Internet cable wasn't working for some reason. :\ I heard they came out today and fixed it though. I worked a little bit on the site from my laptop though, just pages for the new picture archive. It's soooo fucking hot out here. It's like 90 degrees and it's only April. :/ Anyway. Wanna win a trip to Scottland to see Green Day, No Doubt, and the Foo Fighters live in action? Yeah so do I. Well Artistdirect at AT & T Wireless has your chance. Click here for more details. Didn't get Pop Disaster Tour tickets? Head on over to Citysearch to enter to win tickets. Remember the reports about the compliation album that Adeline Records is putting out with the brand new Green Day song? Well that album is going to be called "Every Dog Will Have It's Day" and will be released June 18th. Other bands on the album will be Agent 51, The Crush, One Time Angels, The Influents, and more. Adeline Records merchandise will soon be showing up on the shelves and pages of Hot Topic starting at the end of April. With every Adeline purchase, you will receive an Adeline sampler free. Miss the scan of the recent Rolling Stone article about the Pop Disaster tour? You can now read it at the The Rolling Stone Website. As for GDA, like I said before I'm still working on the new picture archive. I have a few more pages to go yet, then it should be up. As I've said before, I noticed that I don't have a lot of individual pictures of the guys, so if you have any that I don't have, feel free to e-mail them to me. Any help will be greatly appreciated. And last update was 4 new fans to the Fan List were added. Have a great day and if you live on the east USA coast keep your ass near an air conditioner! +

  +04.14.02+ Website Updates -=Courtney=-

+ Once again, no new Green Day news today. However, the Pop Disaster Tour kicks off in just 3 days. :) But, other than that, nothing. So you have to put up with boring website updates. The new Picture Vault is coming along surely but slowly. It's a royal pain in the ass, but I'm still doing it. I discovered I don't have that many Billie Joe by himself pictures, so if you have any that I don't have, or of Mike and Tre, send 'em to me. Along side of this update you will see a graphic. That's the new Green Day desktop wallpaper I made. It sucks, but oh well. If you want to download it, head on over to the Downloads page. Make sure you follow the onscreen instructions. The only other update was 2 new additions to the Fan List. The fuckin' guestbook still isn't fuckin' working, even though I paid fuckin' 6 bucks to upgrade it. Can ya tell I'm pissed? Well, that's about it for today. It's Sunday....argh...so back to work tomorrow. :( I hate Mondays.... +

  +04.13.02+ Website Updates -=Courtney=-

+ No Green Day news My Billie Joe Projecttoday I'm afraid, but I did do some website updates. Along side of this update you will see a picture of my finished Billie Joe drawing. Click on the picture to see it larger. There's also more here and here. Going by the current GDA Poll results, most of you want a better picture archive. So today I started work on a new picture archive. Look for it to be up in a week or so. Also I added a new fan to the Fan List and a new affiliate, Green Day 'N Kaka. Make sure you check back in a few days for the start of GDA's new contest and details on how you can enter. Well, that's about all for today. I hope to see you back here soon! +
+04.12.02+ Article, New Website, Adeline Announcement, Website Updates -=Courtney=-

+ Well let's start off with the Green Day news. LAUNCH.com recently reported that Green Day will donate proceeds from their April 29th performance at the Oakland Arena to Children's Hospital in Oakland. Pop DisasterRead the article @ LAUNCH. Billie Joe's record company, Adeline Records has announced that One Time Angels will be playing along side of blink-182, Green Day, and Jimmy Eat World on April 21st (Irvine Meadows, Irvine), April 27th (Shoreline Amphitheater, Mountain View), and April 28th (Sacramento Valley Amphitheater, Sacramento). Also look for a new compilation CD from Adeline Records which will be including a brand spankin' new Green Day song. That album is scheduled for release on June 18th. The long awaited offical Pop Disaster Tour Website has finally launched, check it out at www.popdisastertour.com. There is also another Pop Disaster Website located at www.popdisaster.com. As for website updates, the picture you see here was added to the Pictures page. I made 2 more little code images, both of which were added to the Link Us page. Two new Concert Reviews were added and also a new fan was added to the Fan List. Forms were added to submit info to the Links page and also the Fan List. I figure those forms will make it easier on me and on you. My guestbook still isn't working, who knows what the fuck is up with that. I might consider getting a new guestbook, but I want one that I can design all my own....like the one I have already. :\ In case anyone was wondering, I finished up my Billie Joe Project. What's that? It's my drawing of Billie Joe (view my drawing) all framed and dolled up. I'm planning on sending to him sometime in the future. I'll get that picture up for you sometime this weekend in case you are interested. I noticed I didn't have the original picture on here, God knows why because it was in my ZIP file archives. So I uploaded that and put it on the Pictures page as well. But for a quick link, if you wanna compare it with my drawing click here. Well that's about all for today. Have a fun weekend and get drunk for me, ok? Since everything around here is always the same, I'll probably be sitting on my ass all weekend. +

+04.09.02+ Contest Reminder, New Articles -=Courtney=-

+ Well it's just another day in paradise eh? Blah. The guestbook isn't working again...don't ask me why because I don't know. Hopefully it'll be up soon. Don't forget Green Day artists, our affiliate Green Day Crap is having an art contest. I entered it myself (see my Billie Joe drawing here). Head on over there for more details. The bands that will be supporting Green Day for the upcoming UK tour were announced. Read all about it at Rock City. LAUNCH.com also recently reported on Green Day's up and coming b-sides & rarities album. Click here to read that article. As for this site, I finally got some concert reviews, but I won't be posting them until I get more info. I also added those little graphics I made yesterday to the Link Us page and also made another one. Have a ball with that but make sure you tell me if you're linking GDA. The newest small banner is below. +

  +04.08.02+ Some New GDA Codes/Banners -=Courtney=-

+ Hey all! No Green Day news today....yet. So I was surfing around today, joining some cliques because I dunno...I really like them. They show people that you believe in something ya know? Then I was thinking. A lot of people have asked me for GDA banners in a smaller size. So what did I do? I made some GDA graphics that are kinda small. Well, I only have 2 so far. Let me know what you think. They will be added to the Link Us page shortly. +

  +04.07.02+ Website Updates -=Courtney=-

+ No Green Day news today, just some website updates. First and formost, I put up the Concert Reviews page. No reviews or experiences yet though. I'm hoping some of you will send them in. Also I added a new fan to the Fan List and a new addition to the Links page, which is Hyper Prinzess. I sectioned off a portion of the Links page for Green Day fans without fan pages. So if you want, send in your personal link and I'll put it on there. But just remember you have to link GDA back or put up one of GDA's banners. Ok now on with it. There was a new quiz put up today. Head on over to the Quiz page to take it. And last, the Multimedia page was updated with the covers played at the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame Induction. Have fun. +

+04.06.02+ B-Side Album News, New Photos, New Contest.... -=Courtney=-

+ Finally! Some news about the new b-side album from LiveWire Magazine:

    Green Day
    Release Date: Summer 2002 (Reprise)
    Album Title: TBA
Extra Info: Songs most likely to make the disc: "Sick", "Rotting", "Stuck With Me", "On The Wagon Again", "Suffocate", "Tired of Waiting For You" (Kinks cover), "Outsider" (Ramones cover)...b-side stuff

+ Well that's hopeful, eh? Thanks to 409 Online for the info. This guy named Doobie from Greenday.com posted new pictures there from The Bridge School Benefit in 1999. Green Day now have wrapped up their mini-Japan tour and are gearing up for the Pop Disaster Tour which kicks off at the Centennial Garden in Bakersfield, CA on April 17th already. Can you believe there were rumors that Green Day dropped out of the tour? Yeah, like Green Day would really fuck over their fans like that. Calling all Green Day artists.....Green Day Crap is having a contest to win any one of Green Day's albums. All you have to do is submit your art at the site by April 16th. Then the visitors of the site will vote on the best peice. Head on over to Green Day Crap for more details. Pages that were updated on my site are The Fan List and Collector's Corner. +

+04.04.02+ Rolling Stone Article, LAUNCH -=Courtney=-

+ Nothing exciting is going on today. I was reading an Entertainment Weekly and I noted something interesting. Remember the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? It's been 12 years since the first movie came out. Wow, I can't believe it's been that long. Was only 8 but I remember going to see it. Anyway, shut up Courtney and get on with it huh? Ok, I have that Rolling Stone article. I was going to scan it myself, but I bought the wrong fucking issue. >:( So the credit for this scan goes to 409 Online. Click here to view and read the article. A LONG time ago I heard on the radio that Billie Joe might be doing something with Ted Nugent. Well, obviously, that turned out to be true, because there's an article at LAUNCH.com about it. Click here to read it. Well, that's about all. Have fun everyone that is going to the Green Day concert at the Castle Hall in Osaka, Japan tonight. +

+04.02.02+ My Concert Experience Last Night, Spin Article -=Courtney=-

+ So last night me, Thad, and my best friend Kate went to see Sum 41 accompanied by H2O and Autopilot Off. The show I went to at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia was the first of the Sum Like It Hot Tour. The show was awesome! I never heard of Autopilot Off and H2O and I found myself buying their CDs. If you're going to a date on this tour you will not be disappointed. I was right up front, but the problem is that they padded us down and wouldn't let us take cameras in. So I'll steal some pictures from different sources and put them on my Photo Album page soon enough. If you want to read a review of the show I was at, head on over to VH1. Thanks to Lloyd from Green Day Fansite for bringing that review to my attention. If you would like to see that Spin Magazine article click here (it was also added to the Pictures Archive). Also if you would like to see the Pop Disaster Tour flyers they had out last night (I grabbed a stack of them), click here. The one I scanned is pink, but I grabbed all different colors....like blue and orange. They are basically promotional flyers because Y100 is sponsoring Pop Disaster when it comes to Philly. They also sponsored the concert I was at last night. No real Green Day news today. Tomorrow (April 3) the people in Japan will be able to catch them on the 3rd date of their mini tour at The Rainbow Hall in Nagoya, Japan. You lucky SOBs! :) Well, that's all for today. If you would like to talk to me about my wonderful concert experience, if you were there, or anything else, feel free to e-mail me. BTW, one person was added to the Fan List. +

+03.30.02+ Japan, Ramones Articles, E-mail from Someone? -=Courtney=-

+ Green Day kicked off their mini Japan tour last night at the Hokkaidoritsu Sogo Taiikukan in Sapporo, Japan. Tomorrow they are playing the Saitama Arena in Tokyo, Japan. If anyone would send a review I could put it on the pending Concert Review page. Check out LAUNCH.com to read an article called 'Green Day's Armstrong Takes Issue With Views On Ramones' Career'. The article is basically about Billie Joe's audio message on Greenday.com, which I didn't get to listen to because my computer is being fucking retarded and won't play it. Grrrr. Also, check out the Official Ramones Site for pictures of the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. On the main page, click on Rock 'N Roll Hall of Fame, then click on Induction Party, then At the Loft, Dinner Party, or Induction Ceremony. There's only like 2 pictures of Green Day though. The one is Billie Joe singing and the other is CJ, Jessie Malin, Billie Joe and Tre Cool at the Dinner Party. Both were added to the Pictures Page. Congratulations to our affiliate Kerplunk Online for winning the GDXFS Challenge of the Month for April. And will the person who e-mailed me via the contact form, who has the SN FireGOD (aka Rick), please e-mail me back because your e-mail didn't work. I have lots of new entries for Collector's Corner, but I don't have time to get to them right now. I don't know if I'll be able to update tomorrow because of Easter. So Happy Easter in advance. Also I know I won't be able to update Monday, April 1, because I am going to see Sum 41 and I'll be booking it down to Philadelphia right after work (it's an hour and a half drive from here). I might have pictures from that concert. :) So that's all for today. I love you all! +

  +03.28.02+ New Audio -=Courtney=-

+ Man, I'm having a really bad fuckin' month. So if you're thinking about it, now's not the time to fuck with me. Let me just give you a run down of the shitty life I've had this past month....you're bored anyway, hell, that's why you're here in the first place. I've lost my pre-engagment ring, people around here are going insane, I didn't get my paycheck, my car payment is very late, work sucks, and other shit too, but that's personal. Anyway, Billie Joe updated his audio message at Greenday.com from Japan. I don't know what it says because I didn't listen to it yet. Well I gotta go search for a shirt to wear this Sunday *rolls eyes*. Before I go, anyone that is going to see Sum 41 April 1 at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia, e-mail me! +

+03.25.02+ New Audio, Doobie's Photos, New Merch -=Courtney=-

+ Didja know they taste like real cheese...even though they look like fishes? Sorry I have that jingle in my head right now. Tre Cool posted another new audio message at Greenday.com. Don't ask me what it says, because for some reason it won't work for me. So I guess I'm screwed into my SOB computer decides to be normal. HA! Anyway, this guy Doobie posted some more pictures at Greenday.com from The Fillmore in 1997. Check them out. Also I just noticed today that the Greenday.com Store has some awesome new girl's hoddies and shirts. The only problem is they are only made in a medium, so I won't be getting one. :/ As I always say, I'm to fat to wear that. Well before I get pissed off, I'm going to get off the subject. Well...uhh...I'm going. Oh and I need a new fucking AOL SN. The one I have is getting old. Have any ideas? O'doyle Rules! +

  +03.24.02+ Website Updates -=Courtney=-

+ As promised, I did some work on the site today. First let's get the GDA Poll out of the way. Here are the results from the last poll:

Are you satistfied with the current tour itinerary?
Yes. : 47 Votes (67%)
No, it sucks! : 23 Votes (33%_
Total Votes: 70

+ Thanks to everyone that voted in that poll. The new question is What would you like to see on the GDA Website?. Click here to go to the GDA Poll and vote. Some new pictures were added to the Pictures page. They are the ones from Tre's golf tourdament for 91x and 2 new live pictures of Billie Joe. Three new entries to Collector's Corner were also added. And well....that's it. I still need concert reviews and quiz questions so if you have any please e-mail me. Also be a sweetheart and vote for me at GDXFS Challenge. Thanks. :) Ok I luv you bye bye. +

  +03.23.02+ I'm Back...New Audio, Video -=Courtney=-

+ Hey everyone. I'm sorry for not updating for like a week, but we had a family emergency here, so I wasn't home. Anywho I'm back now, and I'm giving you the most recent news. Tre left a new audio message at Greenday.com. It's pretty short. Download the video of Green Day playing at the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame Induction at Demented Play Ground. 409 Online has mp3s of Green Day performing the Ramone's "Blitzkrieg Bop" and "Teenage Lobotomy". As for this site, it's in terrible need of an update. All you people that e-mailed this week Collector's Corner will be added sometime this weekend. The Fan List was updated with a bunch of new people. Also I will be adding some new pictures, changing the GDA Poll, and more this weekend as well. I still need concert reviews and I also need new quiz questions so I can change the Quiz page. Also a new affiliate, Basketcase Online was added and as you can see, the old news was archived to history 4. Well....that's about all for now. Check back here later! Tata. +
