+03.17.02+ Happy St. Patrick's Day! Birthday Wishes, Doobie's Photos, Watch TV Tonight! -=Courtney=-

+ Happy St. Patrick's Day Everyone! I hope everyone has a great holiday. Everyone sit down and have a pint. I've always wanted to go to Ireland, and I will someday. I didn't get to update yesterday, so this is a little late. I'd like to say Happy 7th Brithday to Billie Joe's son, Joey! His birthday was March 16th. Sorry for the lateness. If you would like to see a picture of Billie's sons, check out this page. I forgot to tell you that Doobie's Photos on Greenday.com was updated. They aren't new pictures, they were taken at The Fillmore in 1997. Regardless, check them out here. And last, don't forget to watch and record Ultimate Albums: Dookie tonight at 9:00PM EST on VH1. For more info, including an interview with Billie and a Dookie quiz, click here. +

+03.15.02+ New Audio, UK Tour Confirmed, Articles Galore -=Courtney=-

+ Sorry for not updating yesterday, for I was busy. I had a bad fucking day today, so I'll keep this short and sweet. First and formost, Billie Joe updated his audio message today at Greenday.com. He talks about the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame Induction and confirms the new UK tour. Speaking of that particular leg of the tour, I'll post the dates right now. They are said to be appearing with No Doubt. +

+July 11th @ Lancashire Cricket Club in Manchester, England +
+July 13th @ Ireland Witnness Festival in Dublin, Ireland +
+July 14th @ Scotland T in the Park in Balado near Kinross +
+July 15th @ England Newcastle Arena in Newcastle +
+July 17th @ England Wembley Arena in London +
+July 18th @ England Wembley Arena in London +
+July 19th @ Wales Cardiff Castle in Cardiff +
+July 20th @ England Wollaton Park in Nottingham +

+ FYI, those dates have been added to the tour page. And for articles. Ok...let me ramble them off for you. 'Green Summer Ahead' at Dotmusic.com. 'Green Day are amongst the stars playing at LANCASHIRE COUNTY CRICKET CLUB in July' at NME.com. 'Don't miss Green Day on Chris Issak on MuchMusic in Canada'. 'Green Day in the UK in July?' at Rock City. 'Ramones Songs To Get Karaoke Treatment At SXSW' at Yahoo. Ok well that's all. I'm pissed off right now so I need to go rant. Ta ta. +

  +03.12.02+ Almost nothing. -=Courtney=-

+ So there's almost absolutly nothing going on in the world of Green Day today. Except for this from 409 Online: " 'We're A Happy Family' is currently in the works, although no release date is currently known. The album is the project of Rob Zombie and will feature performances by Green Day, Pearl Jam 's Eddie Vedder, ex-Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and others." Sounds like it's gonna be a good album. Anyway, GDA got over 300 hits as of 5:00PM EST. What's going on here? I didn't even know 300 fans knew about my site. Anyway, I'm not going to complain. Happy 21st Birthday to Adrienne! Not Billie Joe's Adrienne, my brother's girlfriend Adrienne. :P I hope she doesn't get as drunk as I'm gonna on my 21st. That's all for the birthdays in March, I promise. :) Unless one of you fans want me to put yours or someone else's birthday wish up. I could do that. I'm bored enough. Well I'm out. Ta ta. +

+03.11.02+ New Audio Again, Affiliate's Future, GDA -=Courtney=-

+ Not much going on today. Tre updated his audio yet again...he talks about coffee this time. :) I admire the man. Bad news today for the websites. This from Darren of the International Supersites Directory and Green Day Fans UK: "I haven't updated the site in a while and this is because I have been working on New-Talent.net. I have come to this decision. ISD and GDFans are no longer going to be updated. I'm sorry to everyone who has submitted their site recently and hasn't had it added to the site. I have chosen not to update any more because I am too busy with New Talent and I am bored with Green Day sites. I still love the band but I have been making Green Day sites since about early 1999 and it started as a hobby but now it's getting to be like a job. There is too much work and too much expected of me. People submit their site and expect it added right away and I just haven't got the time." That sucks. I really love those sites and would hate to see them go down, but what are ya gonna do? I hope everyone decides to pay them a visit. As for GDA, we're going stronger than ever. Today I checked how many hits we've gotten today, and the total was 178! And that was at 6:20PM EST. It doesn't start over until 12 Midnight. That's amazing, for me anyway. Thank you everyone for your support. GDA is still in need of concert reviews, so send 'em along to gdpunkgirl@greendayauthority.com. It wouldn't hurt you to sign the guestbook either. :P And while I have it, I'd like to take this opportunity to say Happy 49th Birthday Mom! Boy she's old. One more year till the big 50! Ha ha. Sorry, I got a little evil there. ;) +

+03.10.02+ Tre's New Audio, Golfing with Tre, Rock n' Roll H.O.F.-=Courtney=-

+ If you have yet to head on over to Greenday.com today, Tre left another audio message. He tells us that he set up an e-mail at trecoolisfine@hotmail.com. Pretty cool of him to do that. Check out pictures from the Punk Rock Pro Am Golf tournament yesterday with Tre at 91x.com. There's an interview with Billie Joe for VH1's Ultimate Albums (check out the GD TV Guide) here. It also gives a track by track breakdown of each song. Green Day will be performing at the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame induction. Read about it at Yahoo. And last, check out "Green Day 'Practicing Every F*&@ing Day' On New Album" at AllStar. +

  +03.09.02+ Ticket Sales, Website Stuff-=Courtney=-

+ Not much going on today. As far as I'm aware of, all of the Pop Disaster Tickets went on sale today. I noticed that some venues jacked up the price a little. I don't have to worry though, I got my tickets in the mail on Thursday and they just went on sale today. ;) Anyway get your ass on over to Ticketmaster and order your tickets before it's too late. Now for some web site stuff. I got a new banner for up top, let me know what you think. Is it ugly or does it suite the site better? I know no one will e-mail me about it. Blah. Our poll is down because the bastards at Bravenet have their server offline due to problems or whatever. I added one of my new gay little AOL AIM Icons to the downloads page. Also one new person was added to the Fan List and one person was added to Collector's Corner. I'm still looking for concert reviews. You know I haven't gotten one yet. That's sad. Get your ass in gear and e-mail me your review. Please. Pretty please. Anyway, I'm gone for today. Oh and check out Punkphotos.com. They have some pretty cool Green Day pix up. +

+03.08.02+ Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame, Tre Nominated for Award-=Courtney=-

+ Hey all. Rumors are going around about the possibilty of Green Day inducting The Ramones into the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame. Billie Joe tells LAUNCH.com, "Anywhere, if you talk about the Midwest, you're talking about the South, East Coast/West Coast, Canada, Europe, anything that is punk rock has been either directly or indirectly influenced by the Ramones. They are equivalent to the first punk band. Whether even they like to think so or not, you can hear it in a lot of different people's music.". Read the entire article here. This is from Green Day Fan Site, "Tre Cool is also nominated for a drumming award! The Northern California Drumming Awards ceremony will be held Friday, March 29th at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco,CA where the three finalists will hold a drum-off. More details to come." Thanks to them for that bit of information. Also, out of my curiosity, I checked up how many hits this site is getting a day. I'm proud to say that we are getting over 100 hits per day, which is a great accomplishment for me. I have been a webmaster of various sites since I was in 8th grade. If you do the math, it's been 7 years since I started my first website, and this has been the most successful one yet. So I'd like to thank the Green Day fans for coming here, the fans of the site, my friends, and it's affiliates. Before I go off because I lots to do today, I'd like to say Happy 25th Birthday to my brother, Jeremy! Ehh...I'll probably say that 2 more times over the next week. :) +

+03.07.02+ Tre Gets His Ass in Gear, New Contests!-=Courtney=-

+ Tre calls himself a whore at Greenday.com. He also tells us that they have the new list of songs for the new album ready. Sounds great. Anyway, some new contests. Well contest...blah. AT&T Wireless is having a contest to fly to Atlanta to see the Pop Disaster tour perform May 18. "You'll arrive at the show in a limo and head straight to the VIP section enjoying all the southern comforts, all courtesy of AT&T Wireless. We'll also put you up at one of Atlanta's finest for two nights and give you $300.00 spending cash for the ultimate down home shopping spree. So don't gamble with your chance to win." Click here and enter now! GDA might have a contest coming up soon. I'm not sure when it will start or what exactly the prize will be, but I'm thinking about a gift certificate from Interpunk, so you can get a new Green Day shirt to go along with you Pop Disaster Tour tickets. Wouldn't that be awesome if I could afford to give away tickets for the show on my website? Yeah, I know it would be. But I'm poor. Speaking of the Pop Disaster Tour, another date was added for April 21st at the Verizon Amphitheatre in Irvine, CA. That is because tickets for the April 20th show are already sold out. The tickets for the April 21st show go on sale this Saturday (March 9) at 10AM PST. Adeline Records has set up a new clearance page, which includes bands like One Man Army and The Frustrators, and also some Adeline stuff. Just so you know, it's all girls stuff. I want the one shirt in the regular section, but remember, I'm poor. Damn car payment.Well, that's about all I have for you today. Please send in your concert reviews and pictures of you guys meeting the guys to gdpunkgirl@greendayauthority.com. Oh yeah, and the contact us and tour pages have been updated with new info. Ta ta. +

  +03.05.02+ Billie Joe, I need Reviews!-=Courtney=-

+ Billie Joe updated his audio at Greenday.com. I thought it was halarious. I need concert reviews people! So I can get my ass in gear and complete the page while I'm on vacation! So send 'em in! Please include your name, if I can use your e-mail, and the date(s) of the show(s) you attended. Plus if you met any of the guys, send your picture in with them and I'll put that up to! Thanks. +

  +03.03.02+ Win a Bass, Interview with Mike, LAUNCH.com Article, ... -=Courtney=-

+ Sorry I haven't updated this weekend, I was sorta busy. Anyway, Guitar Center is having a contest to win Mike's bass. Click here to enter. Guitar Center also has an exclusive interview with our man Mike. Click here to read it. Also at LAUNCH, they reported on Billie Joe's recent audio message at Greenday.com. That article can be read by clicking here. Dookie is also being featured on a new VH1 show called Ultimate Albums, which will air March 17 @ 9:00PM EST. For more information, click here. That information has also been added to the Green Day TV Guide. All of the venues that were previously TBA are now updated on the tour page. Speaking of the Pop Disaster Tour, it is now the highest selling tour at Ticketmaster and it's #2 on Pollstar's Top 50 Most Requested Concerts. That's awesome. I hope everyone got their tickets! Well, keep posting your comments in my guestbook (I think there is something wrong with it because it keeps reloading for me, but I'll try to fix it), and have fun. Oh, BTW, I also updated my about me page. +

  +02.28.02+ Tickets, Billie Joe's New Audio -=Courtney=-

+ I think it's stupid that I start these with "Hi" all the time, so I'm just gonna say fuck it and get into what I want to say. I got my tickets for Hershey today at Ticketmaster today. It sucks that I can only get 4, because I need more. They were $42.15 a pop which isn't all that expensive, for 2 bands that I live. Saves the Day will be at Hershey, and I don't really care for them. I want to see Jimmy Eat World. :( Anyway, Billie Joe left an audio message at Greenday.com today. It's about people blaming the decline in music industry profits from downloading music off the Internet. If you listen to Billie Joe's opinion, you'll find that he's absoultly correct in what he says. He's for the downloading of music off the Internet because people should have to right know what they are buying because most records nowadays are crap. I wanna know what the big fucking deal is. The music industry makes billions and billions of dollars each year. Boo hoo if they lose a couple of million. It'd be a same if they could pay Britney Spears 20 million dollars to go up stage for an hour or two. Anyway, let me know your opinon by signing my guestbook. Right now, I gotta go. +

****To those who inquired in my guestbook, I made a mistake here. The 4 tickets alltogether did come to $172.

+02.27.02+ More Tickets on Sale Tomorrow, Shootin' the Shit -=Courtney=-

+ Gir Meet your moosey fate! Sorry to say, that's the last of the Invader Zim icons I have. All those little icons, by the way, are from this website. And an awesome site it is. That image above that says Green Day with people having sex is just an awesome font I came across and I wanted an excuse to share it with Green Day's loyal fans. If you want that font, e-mail me at roxyangel00@hotmail.com and I'll send it to you. Anyway, there's not much Green Day news. Tomorrow (2.28.02) more tickets for the Pop Disaster Tour will be on presale. To find out what shows we're talking about here, go to MTV.com or Ticketmaster.com to find out. BTW, Blink 182 & Green Day are the #2 selling concert on Ticketmaster. Awesome. Ok I love you bye bye. +

+02.26.02+ Billie Joe, Doobie's Pictures, New Page, Courtney's Wisdom, XFS Challenge -=Courtney=-

+ Zim Stupid stinking humans!  HELLOOO out there in Green Day land. Ok so that was lame. Wait no it wasn't. If you think it was lame then I have 2 words for you: fuck you. Now that we understand each other, I'll get on with the update. Billie Joe updated his audio message at Greenday.com today. He has a hangover. Speaking of Greenday.com, they added a picture section called Doobie's Photos. They are live pictures from some guy named Doobie's personal collection. I was sooo fucking incrediably bored last night I made a new quotes page. Sure it has Billie Joe, Mike, and Tre quotes, but it also has quotes from famous people, and me and my wonderfully delightful friends. The links for the new page isn't updated to all the other pages yet, because I am to lazy to do that right now. I recently did a "involuntary study" on which songs are overplayed on the radio and I'm SICK AND TIRED OF FUCKING HEARING THE SAME DAMN SONGS ALL THE TIME. So through the magic of me having to listen to the radio all day at work, I complied the top 5 overplayed songs on my radio stations. Drumroll please...

  5. 'Hero' - Enrique *cringe*
  4. 'Blurry' - Puddle of Mudd
  3. 'Wish You Were Here' - Incubus
  2. 'Wherever You Will Go' - The Calling
And the #1 overplayed song in America is....'How You Remind Me' by Nickelback!

+ So I will shut my fucking face now, but I have to rant sometimes. Anyway have fun on my web site yada yada yada, and if you love me you'll go vote for The Green Day Authority at the XFS Challenge. The Green Day Authority. Always tellin' it like it is. +

+02.23.02+ XFS Challenge, Total Guitar Magazine, New Website -=Courtney=-

+ Zim You all are doomed! Hi. How's it hanging? That's great. I'm great. Nah, I lied, I'm never great. Anyway. I'm going to try to do some more updating today so this message might change a coupla times. Fun fun. Vote for The Green Day Authority for the XFS Challenge of the Month and I'll love you forever. As a lot of you might know, Green Day is featured on the cover and in a huge article in this month's Total Guitar magazine. Here in the USA, we can't get it unless we pay $20 for some guy off eBay to send it to us (BTW, if any of you bastards outbid me you'll have hell to pay :) ). So if you don't want to spend that much money on the magazine, you can read and view all the articles at 409 Online. There's also going to be an Offical (I guess) Pop Disaster Tour website located at www.popdisastertour.com (it's not open yet). If you recall there's a pretty damn good one at www.popdisaster.com. Why we need 2...I don't really know. Two new AOL Buddy Icons were added to the Downloads page. And last, if you've e-mailed me lately and thought I was a bitch for not answering you, you might just get a response today. Excuse me if I've been busy, but you're right about one thing, I am a bitch. Blah. +

+02.16.02+ Tour News, Website Changes Name -=Courtney=-

+ Listen carefully. The tour people had to be gay and switch around some tour dates and lead on unsuspecting fans like me. So here's the deal. Some of the venues have been announced, but some have not. If you were planning on going to the Scranton show, the date has changed to May 23 and it's now in Hershey. Sucks, eh? + I also heard from a few websites that there is a possiblity of a UK Pop Disaster Tour. Keep your eyes out for that. I know 80% of you are probably UKers and are cheering at this new info. Have fun. Anywayz, "91X will be hosting the Punk Rock Pro-Am Friday, March 1st in Escondido, CA. It will be day on the greens with Brand X Morning Radio and members of Green Day, Social Distortion, Pennywise, Long Beach Dub All-Stars, and many more...". That little tidbit is from Greenday.com. In website news, Green Day Rox is now Green Day Canada Online. *raises an eyebrow* M'kay. Oh yeah, there's a Disaster Waiting to Happen at Pollstar. +

+02.16.02+ Happy Birthday Billie, New Websites, Another New Affiliate -=Courtney=-

+ So I got on anyway today to wish Billie Joe a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Yay! He's probably getting drunk right now. Anyway, check out this new Pop Disaster Tour Website. It's a pretty awesome source for finding information about the concert. I've heard that the tickets will be $32.00US, same as a regular Green Day concert. Also check out this Poprocks and Coke Website. It's pretty funny. Also one more new affiliate, The Green Day Archive. If you are here from 'Club Lansford' and you're looking for the pictures from the dance on 02.16.02, they are in my photo album. There's some there now, more to come later. Have fun. +

+02.16.02+ Billie's Birthday tomorrow, Poll, Articles, Affiliates -=Courtney=-

+ So uhh yeah. Billie Joe's birthday is tomorrow, February 17. So I just wanna take this opportunity in case I don't get to update tomorrow to say Happy 30th Birthday Billie Joe! Woo hooo! And since I didn't update the 14th, I hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day or for some people, Single Awareness Day. Now, I feel it's time for the poll results and for a new poll as well. So here are the results of the last poll:

What do you think of the Blink182/Green Day tour?
I love both bands, so I would go. : 90 votes = 53%
I dislike Blink182, so I will NOT be going. : 11 votes = 7%
Even though I dislike Blink182, I will go anyway. : 68 votes = 40%
Total Votes: 169

+ I must say I'm proud of the results, it shows a lot of people won't turn their backs on Green Day, regardless of who they tour with. The new poll question is: Are you satistfied with the current tour itinerary?. Go to the GDA Poll page to vote now. There are also 2 articles you can check out if it interests you. 'Green Day, Blink Plan 'Pop Disaster'' @ Billboard and 'Blink-182, Green Day Unveil Pop Disaster Summer Itinerary' @ Allstar. Two more new affiliates, Green Day Addiction and Crap Shack. Please, if you wanna become an Affiliate, make sure my site is linked where you can see it on your site (in an Affiliates section) or a banner is posted. If I don't see it there, I will not link you. It's no offense, but I'm doing something for someone else and I expect the same in return. Thanks. If I don't get to update tomorrow, all my best wishes to Billie Joe Armstrong on his 30th. :) +

+02.11.01+ TRL, Billie Joe, Interview, Tour Dates -=Courtney=-

+ So...how was everyone's day? My day sucked balls, complete with retard drivers and work. And I need to get this out....what the fuck is so special about Nickelback's "How You Remind Me"?!?? I can't fucking stand that song anymore, besides the fact that it's played 20 million times a day it's JUST FUCKING ANNOYING. Get over it. Anyway, enough with my weird rants. Blink-182 and Green Day say hello via satellite, and the Knicks City Dancers get the audience pumped up. Yeah, and that's on MTV's TRL on Wednesday, February 13 @ 3:30PM EST. Have fun. Billie Joe left a new audio message at Greenday.com. Don't expect much though, literally. And there is a new interview with Billie Joe from Mean Street Magazine. View it here with our thanks to 409 Online. And last, if you live in California you're in luck, the first 2 Pop Diaster tour dates are posted. They are posted below and on the Tour page +

    + April 20th - Pop Disaster Tour @ Verizon Ampitheatre - Irvine, CA +
    + April 24th - Pop Disaster Tour @ Forum - Los Angeles, CA +

+02.07.02+ The New Music, New Audio, Affiliate News -=Courtney=-

+ This from The New Music: +

"Hard to believe these guys have been together since 1989, 13 years and 25 million albums later Billie Joe, Mike and Tre decided it was time to give their audience a compilation called International Superhits!. George traveled to California and spoke to the guys who in their usual style, preferred backstabbing Creed and Nickelback over hyping their own CD."

+ The New Music is a show that airs on Canada's Much Music Network. The Green Day segment will be aired Monday, February 11, 2002 @ 9:00PM EST, and Sunday, February 17, 2002 @ 4:30PM EST. Thanks to them for e-mailing me that information. Also, all 3 guys left yet another audio message on Greenday.com. Billie talks about the upcoming Pop Disaster Tour, while Tre talks about starting fires. And Mike...well Mike is just saying "lalala". To those that are interested, Darren says The International Supersites Directory and Green Day Fans will be up tonight. And last but not least, GDA has yet another new affiliate, Warning: A Green Day Site. Check it out. +

  +02.04.02+ EXPN Performance -=Courtney=-

+ Hey all. EXPN finally updated the site with the Green Day performance videos and interview. Check it out here. Well...that's all I have for you. +

+02.03.01+ Mike Updates His Audio Again, You Asked Green Day Answers -=Courtney=-

+ Blah yet another update that comes a lil late. Hey before I go on, if you have the opportunity, A Walk to Remember. Awesome movie. Go see it. Especially if you're a girl (Psst...the main male character is HOT). Anyway. Mike updated his audio message at Greenday.com. It's kinda short and sweet and weird. Also you asked in your question, Green Day answers at EXPN. What smartasses. And Warner Brothers has streaming Green Day video from a New York concert here. I got that info from Green Day Fan Site. From you guys, I need concert reviews and pictures of anything rare or self made Green Day stuff for new pages coming up. I also need a new poll question.   +02.01.02+ Jimmy Eat World not Confirmed, New Stuff to buy -=Courtney=-

+ Hiya. I hope everyone is well, I'm not. Anywayz, nearly all of the pages on this site are completed. I'd appreciate it that if you do find a dead link or error message, you'd report it to me. Thanks. As far as I figured out, a lot of people love the new design. :) It's good to know that my hard work wasn't all gone to waste. Anyway, enough with my stuff. This is from the The Official Green Day Fansite: +

+ Zach of Jimmy Eat World had this to say of reports that those guys are going to be on the Pop Disaster Tour:
"I think Billie Joe is smoking a little too much of that 'green' stuff because we are not confirmed to be on that tour. We have been offered that slot and we are thinking it over. I guess both Blink and Green Day are trigger happy with their information. Let's see what happens." +

+ So I'm not sure on anything with that now. There's some new awesome Green Day merchandise that I can't afford to buy right now at The Official Green Day Store. Items include a belt buckle, mousepad, coozie, cd holder, and even a pair of Warning socks and more. Check it out and if you're not like me...buy them. That's all for now. +

+1.27.02+ Billie Updates his Audio -=Courtney=-

+ Hey everyone! I hope everyone likes the new design. I'm trying my best to get all the pages done, but there's just not enough hours in a day for me. I hope you all understand. Please, if you find any error message or links that don't work, disregard them. I will probably find them later and fix them. Anyway, Billie updated his message at GreenDay.com. He keeps it short and sweet. +
+1.27.02+ Tre's New Audio Message, GD Does Gardening, GDA Design -=Courtney=-

+ Hey there GD fans. As you can see, GDA is got a design! And all the credit goes to Darren of International Supersites Directory and Green Day Fans UK for helping me through the whole thing! He also made the awesome banner at the top of this page. What a nice guy. :) This site still needs some more work, so please bear with me. You can voice your opinon on the new design in my guestbook if you want. In Green Day news, Tre updated his audio message at Greenday.com from Mexico. It's pretty funny, so give it a listen. Also at Much Music the guys count down their top 5 gardening tips! Who knew? Click on the image below to go to the site. If you have Showtime, don't forget to watch the Chris Isaak Show tonight at 10:45 EST. They do "Hitchin' a Ride," a track called "One Day" from Chris' upcoming album called "Always Got Tonight" and lots of other collaborations that mix Green Day punk with Chris Isaak retro-style. After the show, check out Chris Isaak's Website for a free download of "One Day" performed by Chris and Green Day. Well that's about it for today kiddies. Keep checking back for more changes on GDA! +
