+ Hey people. I hope everyone is well. I'm not I'm been coughing constantly since I woke up this morning. Oh well. If you don't know, all 3 guys recently updating their audio messages at Greenday.com. Tre was first to update his message on 1.21 talking about the Aspen performance and how they got to throw snowballs at people and went snowboarding. Oh yeah, and they made fun of Carrot Top! Good, he's annoying. Billie updated his on 1.22 giving us information on the tour. He says that it will be a festival type show (ie. Family Values) called the "Pop Diaster Tour" and that Green Day and Blink 182 will be the headliners. He says Jimmy Eat World will also be joining them. Mike finally updated today, talking about how cold it is in the Bay area. Plus he confirms that the tour will take place. + First of all, Billie left a new message at Greenday.com and NO it's not about the tour. It's movie trivia. What happens in every single Farrelly Brothers Movie? There's an article on the tour at CDNOW that you can view here. It confirms that Green Day will be playing last at the shows. More articles at Allstar News and MTV about the tour. If I may, since I can say whatever the fuck I want on here, I wish to speak about the tour from my personal perspective. EVERYONE who is anyone is making a big fucking deal out of Green Day touring with Blink 182, except the Blink fans. And quite frankly, everyone is pissing me off bitching and complaining about it. I've heard some people saying that they are gonna leave when Blink comes on or they are gonna boo. Well I hate to tell you, but no one is going to give a flying fuck if you leave when Blink comes on or if you boo. They still got your money, what point are you gonna make? When I heard about this news, I was happy, because I've seen Green Day AND Blink 182 in concert and they both put on AWESOME shows (I liked Green Day better though, I've been a fan longer). I can't wait to get my hands on some tickets for this show. However, even if I didn't like Blink 182, I'd still go, and I would not bitch and moan about it. It's Green Day, that's what matters, and that's all that should matter. I even heard someone say that Green Day will no longer be their favorite band if they tour with Blink 182. Let it be a sad sad day if you stoop that low my friend. If that is a case, then you were never a true Green Day fan anyway. That's all I'm gonna say about the matter. But let me say this, GREEN DAY is touring. GREEN DAY. Who cares who they are touring with...they are still GREEN DAY. Enough said. The dates haven't been announced yet but I will keep you updated. Some more good news. Green Day has been nominated in the category of outstanding group in the California Music Awards! So get your ass over there and vote for them to win! + Billie Joe posted a new audio message Greenday.com recently. He discusses a band named Agent 51 on his label (Adeline Records), whom will be starting a tour this month. 'International Superhits' dropped 7 spots on the Billboard 200 this week. Last week it was 64, now it clocks in at 71. Remember when I updated that Green Day will be on the soundtrack for the upcoming movie, The New Guy? More information on that can be found now at MTV. Green Day is featured in a new song along with Offspring called "Green Day / The Offspring" which will air January 31 on TRIO. For more information, check out the GD TV Guide.
